This site first came online when Coast Radio Stations ringed the world
and Radio Officers ashore and afloat ensured that
deepsea shipping was served by a professional radio service.

With the demise of most of those radio stations
and the seagoing Radio Officer,
this site has become become dedicated to the
history and the memory of the Coast Radio Station service
and those who staffed the stations
together with those who served at sea,
the ships they sailed in
and the radio equipment they used.
